Day 2: Cape Peninsula
After breakfast we suggest you drive along the scenic Chapman’s’
Peak Drive around the Peninsula and on to Cape Point Nature Reserve,
where you have the opportunity to take a ride up to the lighthouse in
the Flying Dutchman Funicular Railway. Once at the top take in some of
the most breathtaking mountain and ocean scenery in the world. Just up
the road you will find the Cape Point Ostrich Farm which offers guided
tours to learn about the life cycle of these unusual birds, from egg to
adult. A stop at Boulders Beach to visit the colony of African Penguins
in their natural habitat is also worth while. [B]

Day 3: Cape Town
This morning we recommend a visit to the Two Oceans Aquarium, one of
the finest in the world, with more than 3000 marine creatures on view,
including sharks, turtles and stingrays. The rest of the can be spent at
leisure at the V&A Waterfront which offers an abundance of
unforgettable experiences, shopping and indoor entertainment.
Alternatively if the weather permits you may want to take a trip to the
top of Table Mountain on the aerial cableway.[B]

Day 4: Knysna, Garden
Route
Today you depart Cape Town, and travel along the scenic Garden Route
via the coastal towns of Mossel Bay, Wilderness and Sedgefield as you
make your way to Knysna, your base for the next three nights. In the
afternoon you are free to enjoy some of the optional leisure activities
on offer, such as a cruise on the serene Knysna Lagoon or an excursion
to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. [B]

Day 5: Knysna, Garden
Route
Why not visit the Knsyna Elephant Park, where you will be welcomed
by a well-trained and informative guide. After viewing a short video
presentation, a tractor and trailer will drive you through the fields to
the ellies. Here you will have the opportunity to touch, feed and
photograph these gentle giants. Elephants love eating, so don’t forget
your bucket of elephant feed! There are no barriers or fences to spoil
your close encounter, and when the elephants choose to wander off into
the field you are welcome to stay and watch them for as long as you
wish.[B]

Day 6: Knysna, Garden
Route
Today we suggest taking a trip to the nearby Monkeyland. You will
get taken on a monkey safari in the forest to learn about these
fascinating creatures, ranging from the Gibbons of Asia to the Lemurs of
Madagascar. Next door is Birds of Eden, a free flight bird sanctuary,
complete with a canopy walk, mysterious ruin and walk behind waterfall.
Of course the main attraction is the 220 species of birds that inhabit
the aviary. [B]

Day 7: Addo Elephant
National Park, Eastern Cape
Continue your journey along the Garden Route via Plettenberg Bay and
Tsitsikamma and cross into the Eastern Cape on your way towards the Addo
Elephant National Park. The park is one of the world’s great
conservation success stories and embraces one of the highest
concentrations of big game in Africa and thus offers some wonderful game
viewing opportunities. In addition to the famous elephants of Addo there
are also lion, buffalo, black rhino, hyena, jackal and a variety of
antelope species. This afternoon you may wish to book an optional game
drive or activity in the park. [B]

Day 8: Addo Elephant
Park
The day can be spent on a game drive in the Addo Elephant National
Park, in search of the numerous animals that live in the park. Stop at
the various waterholes in the hope of spotting the elephants as they
come down to drink. Keep a look out for the rare flightless dung beetle
who is king of the road in Addo, with signs warning visitor that this
recycling machine has right of way![B]

Day 9: Addo Elephant
Park
The final day of your safari can be spent however you choose. There
is time to enjoy one last game drive, or for the more adventurous there
are various hikes in the area, helicopter trips to the nearby beaches or
cultural excursions.[B]

Day 10: Port Elizabeth
This morning after breakfast, drive to Port Elizabeth Airport to
drop off your hire car in time for your departure flight. We hope to
