Safari Overview

Travel from Windhoek via Namaland to the Namib-Naukluft Park region. Stay in the Naukluft Mountain Park and do a nature/game-tracking walk into the Water Valley of the Mountain Park. From here visit the dunes of Sossusvlei and Namib Desert, before traveling via the Kuiseb Canyons / Namib Desert to the coast.

Swakopmund: over-night in this romantic little Atlantic coastal town with free time to explore the town (guesthouse accommodated).

From Swakopmund, we travel north along the Southern Skeleton Coast before cutting inland into the Damaraland region of Namibia. Our destination for the day will be the famous Brandberg, here we will camp under the huge Acacia trees. While at the Brandberg, you have the opportunity to track and look for the rare Desert Elephants and other desert animals of this scenic region.

Departing Brandberg, we travel through Damaraland north to the Southern Kaokoland and the Otjitotongwe Cheetah Sanctuary. At the Sanctuary we will have time to inter-act with tame cheetah and going on a drive to feed the wild cheetahs.

Leaving Otjitotongwe behind, we make our way to the Etosha National Park: Etosha is considered to be one of the finest wildlife Reserves in the world, with a tremendous diversity of wildlife. Here we will spend a few days with game drives and game watching at night (camp waterholes are floodlighted and it is not strange to see elephant, rhino together at the waterhole).

Departing from Etosha, we make our way through the tribal lands of the Namibian Okavango Region to the Popa Falls on the Okavango River. The next few days we will explore the Namibian Okavango Delta Panhanle (Mahango Game Reserve) and the Bwabwato Reserve (Namibian Moremi) with game drives and game tracking.

The Bwabwato section: here the famous Moremi of Botswana overflow into Namibia, and rare species such as African Wild Dog, Leopard, Lion, Sable and Roan Antelope, hippo, crocodiles, together with herds of buffalo are to be found.

Here all your interests in the Okavango Delta will be satisfied, and better.

Departing the Namibian Okavango Delta and Moremi region, we make our way to the Waterberg Park. Game drive on top of the Plateau, and a nature exploration walk will be part of our program here.

On day 15, we travel back to Windhoek, for your departure flight.
