This famous overland camping safari route, from Cape to Vic Falls, Zimbabwe (also in reverse), explore the most spectacular areas of four countries Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa. 

All our designated camps has mid-range lodge accommodation that provide the guest with 3 alternative accommodation options.

• Type of Safari: Semi-participation camping safari with 3 accommodation options

• Accommodation: During the safari, you will be staying on designated campsites either within a National Park, on the banks of a river, or other places of interest. 

• All our designated camps has mid-range lodge accommodation that provide the guest with alternative accommodation options.

• On all three accommodation styles of our safari, the tour guide will be responsible for the shopping and cooking of all the meals. All clients booked on camping safaris, upgraded camping safaris and fully upgraded camping safaris will enjoy the same wholesome meals. These meals are often enjoyed together in the evening around a camp fire.

All Tented Camping: Includes: Use of full camping equipment (except sleeping bags), breakfast x 21, lunch x 18, dinner x 14, coffee/tea with the meals, transport on the tour, 4 nights in chalets and 17 nights camping, activities as per itinerary, game drives as per itinerary

Excludes: Travel insurance, flights, pre and post tour accommodation, optional activities, all drinks, tips and curios, all personal expenses.

Mix of Tented Camping and Mid-range Lodge: Includes: Use of full camping equipment (except sleeping bags), breakfast x 21, lunch x 18, dinner x 14 (meals are prepared by the guide at the campsites), coffee/tea with the meals, transport on the tour, 11 nights in chalets, of which 9 have en-suite facilities (nights of which depend on availability and subject to change to below itinerary) and 10 nights camping, activities as per itinerary, game drives as per itinerary.

Not included in the price: Travel insurance, flights, pre and post tour accommodation, optional activities, all drinks, tips and curios, all personal expenses.

Arrival in Cape Town.  You have the remainder of the day at leisure.

Accommodation: Lady Hamilton Hotel or similar (Rooms with en-suite bathrooms, restaurant,  bar and swimming pool)

Day 2: Cape Town to Cedarberg Mountains, South Africa  
Accommodation: Gecko Creek or similar (Cabins, separate wash rooms with hot water, swimming pool)

Day 3: West Coast of South Africa to Orange River, South Africa
Accommodation: Felix Unite River Camp on Orange River or similar (Chalets with en-suite bathrooms, bar)

Day 4: Canoeing on the Orange River, Namibia

Day 5:  Ai-Ais & Fish River Canyon, Namibia

Day 20: Chobe National Park, Botswana 
Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge or similar (Rooms with en-suite bathrooms, bar and swimming pool)

Day 21: Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
A mid morning departure takes you from Chobe to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. In the afternoon we explore the Victoria Falls on a guided tour. [B]

Day 22: End of tour
